I put few miles on my car. The maintenance schedule indicates I need to change the oil at 7,500 miles OR 6 months. What if I put on only 4,000 miles in 6 months, do I have to bring it in for an oil change or can I wait until 7,500 miles? Will I void the warranty if I do not bring it in at 6 months?

Time or mileage which ever comes first.
If you do the oil change yourself then make sure you have receipts
And also would be helpful to have friends watch you do this and write their names down
Don't forget dates. Add comments as to condition of oil.

    Why do it?
Cause the dealership will use whatever excuse not to service your vehicle for free (warranty).
