What kind of repairs can I expect to have to do in the near future on my 5
yr old Excel X3? The vehicle has done 186,000km and had a mix of city and
    long-distance driving.
So far, I have had the following failures:
    Radiator fan (under warranty)
    Clutch slave cylinder
    Gear shift cable
Spark plug wires (I found out later these should be changed regularly)

I have had the timing belt replaced, and it is now due for another.

The engine 'pings' quite badly under load, but has always done this from
    new.

Over all, I'm happy with this little car. Comfort and fuel economy are good,
    something I value.
