New Engine Needed!

    Hi, Can anyone tell me if they have replaced an engine in a Santa Fe? I can't get anyone to actually tell me the problem, but they all guess engine, and say its not worth replacing. I really dont want to scrap it so looking to see if it can be done? its a 2006 manual

    Yeah, you are going to have to find that information elsewhere.
    This forum doesn't seem to have enough active members that have that information
    In any case, wish you good luck in your project of replacing the engine.

    I seem to remember changing a 302 engine in a Ford Mustang II. What a pain in the a....
    There was no room to stick a wrench in.

    Please describe what appears to be the problem that would necessitate an engine replacement and maybe some can chime in. For example, is there a clicking sound when the engine is running. Or there is no sound at all...
