No signal on 2 cylinders 2003 Santa Fe

    I have an 03 Santa Fe 2.4ltr. When I bought it, it had jumped time. I replaced the head, pistons, gaskets, etc. I never could get it timed correctly. A friend of mine is now working on it. It has been timed, starts and runs. However, it is running badly. No codes, no engine light, no pinched wires, etc. It is not getting a signal from the ecm to 2 cylinders. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is the ecm bad? Can it be reset?
