When you completely bleed down an A/C system, what is the refill amount?

    I take it from what I've read it's 1 1/2 pounds R134A. That's only 2 twelve
    ounce cans. Correct?

Do you also put back more compressor oil? It seems that most of it would
stay in the system---is this correct or not? The proper amount from what
    I've read is 5 oz.

    TIA

The fill is 1.55 lbs. (1lb, 9oz). So 2 12oz. cans would be about right.
I might add an ounce or two of oil, but you are correct that most will
    stay in the system.
