2002 Elantra- have had oil changed by Jiffy Lube the past 60k, just took it to a mechanic due to oil leak- he says they have been overfilling the crankcase by about a quart each time- he said he could tell by the clean area of the dipstick above the full mark. Now I have to replace the crankcase gasket since that's where they say it's leaking- any dye or test I could do to make sure- there's no oil on the ground and on a recent 3000k trip east, there was no oil loss. Since this is my last car I have to make it last until forever!! Any ideas?
