Is a pin# required to program the key on 2000 Accent. If pin# is required, Is the only place to get the pin# from a Hyundai dealer?
I did see somewhere on the net that "some" locksmith programmers, don't require a pin...the programmer automatically tells them the pin# ?
I have lost the original key with transponder & have since replaced it with one with a blank transponder & recut it, so ignition turns on.
Have tried programming it but programmer gets to a point & won't go any further...doesn't ask for pin. Contacted the manufacturer, but they're hopeless.
    Thanks

    Don't know for sure.
But, the vehicle should have an ETAC behind the dash/radio
There should be a switch to put to set .. then press the door open on remote for 2 sec
Then put switch to run mode. It should work??

    It probably won't work.
    Sorry can't help.
I can only repeat what I have read somewhere else.
