Has anyone received the recall letter about the rear brakes lines rubbing
the steering bracket on 2001 - 2003 Elantra's?

It's not just Elantras. Many of the 2003 Tiburons have the same problem
according to the recall letter I got the other day. I've had no
problems with the brakes yet, but I've only had the car for 6.5 months.

Notice for Elantra's they say the build dates are from:
beginning June 30, 2000 to December 15, 2002.
Tiburon's build dates are August 10, 2001 to February 15, 2003.

My point is you can check on the drivers door and see your build date there.

Obviously if your build dates for these two models are in this range you
need
to have your car serviced by the dealer to fix.
