I purchased a 2002 Accent new, Its now 2004 with almost 40K miles on it, only had to take it to the dealer once to get a motor replaced on the driver side window (would not go up or down.) Other than this one little problem it has been very reliable. I would assume a 2003 would do just as well being as there have been very little changes to the design.

    I purchased a 2001 on Dec 27, 2000.
70K miles, oil change and check up every 3K miles.
Only problem I've had is it only gets 35mpg.
I want 40mpg. Can anyone tell me how I can get 40?
Seriously, the only problem I had was with the trip meter.
It would stick. Hyundai replaced the whole thing for $0.00.
Car is owned by me now. No more loan. I will be driving it until it stops.
