Reverse issues 2021 Sonata

    Hi All, New to the site
    helping my mother in law
    she has a 2021 Sonata.and has had two separate issues this past month with reverse gear
    while backing out of a parking spot she went to put the car in drive and the car continued to reverse
    until she "tapped" the car behind her
    the sensors did not sound , and she attempted multiple times to put the car in drive unsuccessfully

    is this a known issue ?
