Am looking at putting plain steel wheels with snow tires on my XG. The new
rims available are the right bolt pattern & offset but are 15 X 6, not 15 X
7 so I'm wondering if I should go with a slightly less wide tire like a 195
instead of the 205R65.15 that is on the alloy rim?? Any experience with this
    ?
    Thanks,
BC in BC (Didn't have any snow till Xmas!)

You'll want the first and second numbers to multiply to about the same
thing on both tires. So, you'd want something like 195/70r15. The 205's
    should be ok.
