My 2015 Sonata Sport has the service engine light on the code reads P0036 which is an oxygen sensor does anyone know which sensor it is?
 
I know its an oxygen sensor I'm confused as to which one it is I believe I have four is upstream or downstream is it the drivers side or passenger side thanks for your reply.
 
Depends on engine size.
Bank 1 is usually the front set of the V6 or V8
Sensor 2 is usually the down stream sensor

Guess I should look it up on the internet to make sure???

And, the DTC .. code says that the heater circuit has an issue.
Could be the O2 sensor's heater circuit is busted
Or the wiring to the O2 sensor is busted
Measuring the resistance of the heater circuit (2 black wires) should be around 4 ohms
But, that depends on the O2 sensor

Really should double check those ideas.
Maybe youtube has a video???

You can go to an Auto parts store and they will scan the code for free and the scan will tell you what sensor and which bank it is on.
