Just bought 2024 Tucson and discovered there is no spare tire. They give you a tire inflation kit. There is a rigid (dense foam) storage unit below carpeted . My question is ,if I buy a donut spare tire( there is appropriate place for spare with threaded hole for bracket to secure tire) can I trade that foam storage piece back to Hydundai-it’s a 4’by4’ piece that is useless to me because once the spare is in place the storage unit will not fit. Is common now that a spare tire does not come with new vehicles? Ricky.
