Hello everyone i am actually new to the forum however i have a 2001 granduer XG 3 litre which was having a diy water pump replacement that turned into a timing belt head reconditioning operation.
On getting it all back together the motor just will not fire up. The timing is correct, it appears to have spark and will crank over but i can get it to go even gently priming the motor . Its almost as though it has been immobilised somehow. The car does have an immobiliser but i dont use it as i key lock it due to problems with the remote . I have id key, master key and S key has anyone had issues such as this and how do i rectify it ?
