    Hi all

I have a 1998 Hyundai Excel Hatch which came with a Philips Cassette Deck
(D155). I assume it is the factory one, I bought the car when it was two
years old, so it is possible it was replaced and I don't have the manual to
    check.

What I need is a wiring diagram so I can change over to the new CD Radio I
    got for Chrissy!!

Anyone know which colours are which or what site I may find out? Any help
    appreciated.

    Cheers

Go to www.hmaservice.com, click on "service information", "web tech",
select 1994 Excel and the "ETM" tab. Then select the radio schematic.

You'll need IE to use the website.

Thanks Hyundaitech. I took a look but about the only schematic it doesn't
    show is the radio :(

    It's a great site though

Love the email address!!! Thanks, but I've seen these before, unfortunately
they are not available in Australia at present and I don't really want to
import one if I can avoid it. It is an option if I get stuck though.

Fudge. Except I didn't say fudge. Put in 1992 Excel instead. I just
looked and there's an audio system schematic for that. The pin locations
should be the same, but the wire colors may be different.

How do you know this? They are *not* freely available here in Oz.

This is a small market with many such peculiarities. For instance Krispy
Kreme has only just got here, unnoticed by most of us ;-]

Perhaps you mean via Internet purchase such as Ebay.
