My son has a 2004 Tiberon GT Limited Edition (I think that is what the
special editiion of that car is called). He forgot to lock it one evening
and someone tried to steal the head unit but must have been spooked as they
only got the face plate. He is being told that the face plate can not be
replaced, the whole unit needs to be replaced. Is this correct information?
I find it hard to believe that the factory can not supply a new face plate
to match the main units security code. Any information would be greatly
    appreciated.

    Thanks in advance, Dan
