Ok I have a 00 hyundai accent gs 1.5l and I rebuilt the engine on it and now it's not running right it throws constant misfire codes and has no power and tries to die out. I have replaced plugs, wires, coils, and a few other sensors. The head and block were both decked. When I do a compression check I have compression in all cylinders when I put fuel and spark to it I then loose compression in the number 2 cylinder. Replaced the intake valves and compression was back put fuel and spark and compression was gone again. I had seen that if the head and block we decked that it could throw the timing off because the distance between crank and cam is shorter now. So my question is does anyone have any other ideas or does anyone know where I can get a thicker head gasket to try?
