Urgent Help! Hyundai Sonata - Transmision Problem

    My 2015 Hyundai Sonata Eco (103K miles) that will only drive in reverse. I smelled a burnt transmission fluid smell. I took it to a dealer and they said to repair the transmission it would cost me e $4,375. I am a 73-year-old on a fixed income and don't have that kind of money. I am in the Paris, TN area (30 miles south of Murray, KY). Can forum members provide suggestions on how I can find an independent mechanic who works out of his garage or small shop to fix my car at a reasonable price? Any suggestion to find a used transmission or a junk yard?

    Christmas is coming up and I would like to visit my grandkids.

    Please help me!
