Where to find exact grey bumper spray paint for Hyundai (Santa Fe)?

Discussion in 'Hyundai Santa Fe' started by Dave in Lake Villa, Sep 21, 2006.

  1. Ive tried Hyundai dealer, Walmart, Auto Paint Stores, Pep Boys,
etc....but cant find the exact grey color which i believe is standard on
hyundai bumpers. Ive found a gunmetal color which is close but is still
    too light .

Has anyone found the exact color spray paint ? If so, please give
    details on where to buy.

    Thanks, Dave.

Go to a real automotive paint supplier and give him your paint code. Or...
take the car and have him look to find the paint code. The junk you buy in
the stores will never match. You can have paint mixed and placed into an
aerosol can so you don't need a gun to shoot it. You'll likely have to
blend the paint - as is the case even with a professionally shot paint,
unless you shoot the entire bumper.

I'm really surprised the Hyundai dealer cannot get you the right color.
    What did they tell you?
