Window glass on 2011 Sonata

It's hard to describe, but I have a distortion in my front windshield,
if I look at the right third of the windshield and move my eyes left
and right, it will be "wiggly" looking through the windshield. I
thought it was only present in direct sunlight, but it appears to be
evident on gray days too. I read in a review somewhere where someone
was complaining about the same thing. The rear windshield appears to
be the same way. When I test drove another Sonata recently with a
friend, I noticed the same effect on the windshield.
Is this "normal"? I am getting used to it after 5 months, but it is
still sort of unnerving at times.
Is this evident for ALL Sonatas? If so, I don't see any point in
asking for a replacement. And I don't really want to alter the
original factory seal on the windshied.
Anybody else experieced this? And if so, did you replace the
    windshield?
    Thanks,
    Wade

Do you wear glasses? Do the glasses have prisms adjustment?

I've not noticed this on the 2011 Sonata nor as a charastic of any
other vehicle, but I'm not particularly looking for it, either. I did
look at an Elantra (somewhere in the 2007-2010 range) windshield with
this issue, and I probably would have not noticed it if it hadn't been
pointed out to me. Of course, if I drove it every day, I'm sure I
would have seen it. Replaced the windshield, which corrected the
    issue.

My 2006 has this also. I don't notice it all that often, but it
definitely is lower quality glass than I have in my American brand cars.
And before you said that the Sonata is made in America ... my 2006
4-cylinder was NOT made in the US plant.

My 2001 Elantra is on its 3rd windscreen, and this one
    has a chip in it.

It is still there even if I take off my glasses.
If I am in the drivers seat I can see the rippling on the right side
of the windshield, the far one third portion.
If I am sitting in the passenger front seat, it's just the opposite, I
only see it on the left one third portion. So you have to be at the
    "right" angle.
I would a prefer an optically correct shield but don't know if it is
worth destroying the original factory seal.

I'd want a windshield that didn't have the capability of giving me a
headache. But that's me. Only you know how inconvenient this is to
    you.
